Job Description:

As a mechanic in our workshop, you are an essential link in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our Caterpillar machines. You are responsible for identifying technical problems, advising on the necessary work and independently carrying out repairs and overhauls. In addition, you will work closely with your fellow technicians and regularly coordinate with the chief mechanic to ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards and that customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Safety is always your top priority.

Your tasks:

• Maintaining, repairing and overhauling Caterpillar machines, with an eye for detail and quality.
• Detecting technical problems and advising on the best approach for repair or overhaul.
• Independently carrying out a variety of technical tasks, using advanced tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues and consult with the chief mechanic to ensure that all work is done efficiently and on schedule.
• Contribute to a safe and tidy working environment by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness.

What we ask:

• Demonstrable experience with earthmoving machines and a strong affinity with technology.
• A completed VMBO/MBO education in agricultural mechanization, earthmoving machines or mechanical engineering.
• Independence, proactivity and a solution-oriented attitude, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.

We offer:

• An attractive salary between €2,645 and €3,950 gross per month, based on a 40-hour working week.
• 30 days of leave, 8% holiday pay and 10 days of holiday in excess of the statutory entitlement for a healthy work-life balance.
